Hello!

Some updates: A WebGL build, Unity's security patch, tutorial text change, and the second No Kings Day Protest.

On the WebGL build, originally I didn't make one because it would've required reworking how the Press Briefing videos were being handled. I was also worried about load times with such heavy files. 

But I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn! And learn I did because my first web build took almost **45 seconds** to complete its initialization load on my browser 😱 Obviously, that's unacceptable because it took so long that I thought it was broken!

Through research and forums (especially this one https://discussions.unity.com/t/unity6-webgl-initial-loading-is-very-slow/155328 ) I made a lot of changes. Now my initial load is always < 10 seconds and build size was reduced by 30mb.

But, players might still experience longer load times depending on resources allocated to their browser and specs and connection. So if you experience problems, please try a downloadable version!

On the security patch, following the discovery of a security vulnerability with Unity, I've patched the Windows version of the game. I had to remove the Mac version because I don't have regular access to a Mac so I couldn't update the build. Hopefully the browser is alright for those that want to try it. Linux didn't require an update.

The tiny tutorial change I made is a change to the tutorial text. Instead of saying "Type to speak!" now it says "Type your line to progress!" which is hopefully clearer.

Anyway that's it for the game's update. 

Obviously this is a political game, and the situation in the US has been moving incredibly fast. When this game was demoed at Q-Con (https://www.q-con.org.uk/), it was pretty cool that it was the same day as the first No King's Day Protests (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Kings_protests_(June_2025)). That protests saw a 5 million person turnout in cities across the USA.

Coincidentally again, this update aligns with the second No Kings Day protest. The movement has only grown, and yesterday on 18 October 2025 there were nearly 7 million people taking to the streets (https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/no-kings-protest-trump-today-live-updates-b2847817.html).
